Parson House Soap & Candle Co. is a family owned and operated business located in Mount Forest, Ontario since 2003. Our candles are all hand poured using all natural soy vegetable wax, lead free wicks, and the purest fragrances available. Because we only use a high grade soy wax you can be assured that there will be no harmful toxins like many large petroleum- paraffin manufactures. Our scents will last all the way to the bottom of the jar.

Just for Fun
Occasionally I come across unique containers that are perfect for pouring candles, so I have fun and play. It could be a funny mug, or a beautiful tea cup, or some other found object that will accept wax and heat. These items usually sell pretty quickly as they are one offs and when they are gone they are GONE. The beauty of using soy wax is that when the candle is finished the container can be washed and used instead of being thrown away

BURNING INSTRUCTIONS AND SAFETY
There are a few simple steps to get the maximum enjoyment from your Parson House Candle
Soy wax is softer than paraffin, which is one of the reasons you won’t find pillar candles made of 100% soy. Therefore, votives need to be burned in a tight-fitting container for maximum fragrance burn time.
After each burn, trim the wick to 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch in length to minimize soot and remove any mushrooming of the wick.
